Why It's Our Favorite Ride
Living with the Land is my favorite ride in Disney because it offers a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of the theme park. The slow-moving boat ride takes you through a series of greenhouses showcasing innovative agricultural techniques and sustainable farming practices. I love seeing the towering plants and vegetables grown in unique ways, such as upside-down and suspended in air. Pro tip: ride Living with the Land in the early morning or late evening for shorter wait times and enhanced views of the greenhouses. Keep an eye out for hidden Mickeys throughout the ride!
What to Eat
After riding Living with the Land, head over to Sunshine Seasons in the same land for a delicious and healthy meal. This quick-service restaurant offers a variety of fresh and sustainable options, including salads, sandwiches, and bowls. I recommend trying the Oak-grilled Rotisserie Chicken with a side of roasted vegetables or the Asian-inspired Mongolian Beef with rice and stir-fry vegetables. Don’t forget to grab a refreshing drink, such as the Strawberry Basil Lemonade or the Green Tea Plum Slushie, to cool off after your peaceful ride.
