There are over 25 resorts that are currently available to book at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. These resorts are divided into four main categories: Disney Deluxe Resorts, Disney Moderate Resorts, Disney Value Resorts, and Disney Vacation Club Resorts.
- Disney Deluxe Resorts are the most luxurious and expensive resorts, with larger rooms and more amenities. Examples include the Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, the Polynesian Village Resort, and the Wilderness Lodge.
- Disney Moderate Resorts are mid-priced and offer a balance of luxury and value. Examples include the Caribbean Beach Resort, the Coronado Springs Resort, and the Port Orleans Resort.
- Disney Value Resorts are the most affordable options and are popular with families. Examples include the All-Star Music Resort, the Art of Animation Resort, and the Pop Century Resort.
- Disney Vacation Club Resorts are also deluxe resorts but they are mostly for members of Disney Vacation Club. These resorts are Disney’s timeshare program. Examples include the Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort, the Copper Creek Villas & Cabins at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, and the Villas at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa.
Additionally, there are also several non-Disney hotels and resorts located in the area surrounding Walt Disney World, which are not owned or operated by Disney but they offer guest special perks such as Disney’s Extra Magic Hour and Disney Transportation.
